In the best interest of the safety, health and wellbeing of the Hobsons Bay community and Council staff in the midst of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Council has made the decision to cancel all Council delivered public events for the next 60 days (until 16 May), or until further notice.
This now means this scheduled performance of Sounds of Silent – Screening Buster Keaton’s The Cameraman has now been cancelled.
All ticket money including booking fees will be refunded directly back to patrons who pre-purchased tickets to this performance.

The Sounds of Silent is a five piece band which recreates the movie-going experience of the silent movie era when many bands performed in Melbourne theatres to accompany silent movies.

The 1928 film The Cameraman tells the story of a clumsy man who embarks on a journey to become a motion picture cameraman in an attempt to win the heart of a woman working at the film studio.

This will be a great fun evening for all ages, having been performed all over Australia to sell-out audiences. Seating is limited in this charming heritage venue so get in early.
